Sales Operations Internship - Quote Associate
What you’ll do:
Do you like working with data and attention to detail? GOOD! The Quote Associate supports the sales team by creating quotes quickly and accurately. This internship is also responsible for providing quote analysis and quality assurance, lead research and assignment, and crowdfunding site setup. The goal of this position is to support our sales team during our peak season to keep all sales running efficiently. What will you gain from us? You will gain hands-on, interactive experience in a fast-paced sales environment, and a chance to learn new strengths about yourself personally, and professionally!
On a typical day you will be accountable for:
Creating, editing, and updating all sales quotes and researching potential leads and assigning leads to sales team. You will be responsible for creating and double-checking custom kit bill-of-materials (BOMs). Entering web orders daily into the sales order pipeline and creating and maintaining personalized crowdfunding and Built-by-Blu e-commerce webpages for partners.

Education, Experience, and Proficiencies:

Hold or are working towards a bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, MIS, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Quote generation and/or sales operations experience preferred.

Familiarity with Sage 100 (ERP) preferred.

Microsoft Office 365 with high proficiency in Excel

This is a 13-week internship program, here are the details:
Our goal is to build lasting professional relationships that will help prepare you for the modern workplace while also helping BLUSOURCE find our next full-time Blu Crew members. So, over the course of the summer, BLUSOURCE interns will learn about business operations, receive dedicated time and feedback from business leaders, have opportunities to make formal presentations to company leaders, and gain useful experience in their department.
Dates: May 12 – August 15
Hours: 8:00-4:30 Monday-Friday
Compensation: 14.50/hr
