Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting and training for both customers and internal employees. This position will primarily work at customer sites troubleshooting, replacing and repairing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, or replace equipment at customer site(s) as assigned by Technical Service Coordinators
- Perform Preventative Maintenance services at customer site(s) for audio/visual installations
- Perform testing on all equipment prior to leaving job site
- Communicate completion or open issue(s) with Technical Service Coordinators
- Mark up as-built drawings, as needed
- Clean up work areas at customer site(s) and secure tools at the end of each day
- Keep vehicle organized, fully stocked and serviced, as necessary
- Answer customer phone calls/emails as they relate to technical audio visual equipment issues
- Complete and file service call tickets
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Skill Requirements
- 1 year of experience in an audio visual or technical environment, preferred
- Completed HS Diploma or GED is required
- Experience with audio visual presentation and or IT equipment is helpful but not required
- This candidate must possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong customer service skills via e-mail, telephone and in person are necessary
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair
- Ability to communicate with customers and vendors written and verbally
Pay Range: $20-24/hour

Training
It will be necessary to participate in upgrading courses from time to time to keep abreast of changing policy, technology, and growth.
