Blytheville High School is seeking applications for the position of Attendance/Data Entry Clerk.
Responsibilities:
The Attendance Clerk is employed at schools where he/she maintains the attendance records of students and related information. He/She coordinates with the teachers and other staff to gather accurate data. He/She confirms the excused absences, updates databases, and submits reviewed attendance reports to the administrators. Furthermore, he/she performs clerical tasks such as handling calls and correspondence, preparing documentation and presentations, and organizing files. Also, he/she manages schedules and maintains records. Additionally, he/she informs administrators, students, and parents about absence reports and potential disciplinary issues. Any other additional tasks as required.
The requirements to be an attendance clerk include a high school diploma or a GED certificate. Experience with database or electronic records management is desired but not required. Skills required for this position include communication and computer skills.
