Finance Analyst

This role will be instrumental in forecasting revenue and costs, refining our billing processes, and delivering insights that drive smarter decision-making across the business. What You’ll Do

• Manage and enhance the billing process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while working with development teams to automate and improve workflows.
• Build and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, costs, and cash flow. Lead budget-to-actual reviews to ensure cost control and financial health.
• Develop Tableau dashboards and other analytical tools to provide actionable insights across the company, identifying key trends and unknowns.
• Work closely with the Head of Finance to generate financial reports, analyze revenue trends, and support strategic decision-making.
• Drive enhancements in financial processes, leveraging data and technology to create a best-in-class finance and analytics function.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with experience in forecasting and budgeting.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau (or a willingness to learn).
• A process-driven mindset, with the ability to improve and automate billing operations.
• Ability to communicate complex financial insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach—always looking for ways to optimize and refine.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in SaaS, fintech, or the payments industry.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other analytical tools.
• Previous experience in revenue operations or financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred
• Preferred 2-4 years of experience in billing, finance, or a related role — ideally within the payments industry
• Strong understanding of payment processing systems, transaction data, and financial systems
• Familiarity with billing software and ERP systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Tableau, SQL
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment where priorities sometimes shift
• Experience with data visualization tools or financial reporting software is a plus
