What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT position at BMD?
Responsibilities for this position include :
- Provide data and order entry, word processing, copying, faxing, scanning and other clerical assistance
- Respond to inquiries from customers, Customer Service and others regarding order and delivery status of products
- Monitor open orders for shipment accuracy and completion
- Enter, process and confirm purchase orders and track product status
- Resolve purchasing and delivery discrepancies using shortage reports; recommend appropriate action to correct errors.
- Review that all orders in the system for delivery have been processed
- Set-up and coordinate meetings and events and clean-up
- Answer, transfer and direct phone calls to the proper destination
- Greet and direct visitors with a friendly and professional manner
- Prepare, code, and create check requests for invoices
- Organize and maintain documents and files
- Order and maintain inventory of office supplies
