Position Summary

BME Services LLC is seeking an experienced Service Plumber with a strong background in plumbing maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will be backflow certified and have the ability to work effectively in diverse environments. This role requires active participation in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure prompt service and customer support during critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

Plumbing Service & Repairs :
Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and industrial facilities.
Address issues with water supply, drainage, and fixtures to ensure optimal performance.
Backflow Prevention :
Utilize your backflow certification to install, test, and maintain backflow prevention devices.
Ensure compliance with local and national codes regarding backflow prevention.
Preventive Maintenance :
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
On-Call Support :
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, providing emergency service calls as needed to resolve critical issues promptly.
Customer Interaction :
Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, and maintenance work performed.
Safety & Compliance :
Adhere to all safety protocols and local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.
Ensure work areas are kept safe and organized at all times.

Qualifications

Experience :

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Plumber or in a similar plumbing role.

Certifications :

Must be backflow certified .

Skills :

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Additional Requirements :

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
