Bio-Medical Equipment Service Co. is seeking a quality-focused Service Technician to join our in-house depot team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repair of equipment for medical facilities throughout North America. Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, flexible 8-hour shifts between 6:00am and 4:30pm
Compensation: Hourly rate based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot, inspect, maintain, repair, and calibrate a comprehensive range of medical equipment and devices
· Refurbish used medical equipment, systems, and instruments for resale
· Provide customer-centric technical support/solutions to clinical health providers
· Collaborate with internal teams to assist with company goals and objectives
· Drive continuous improvement on yields, work in process, NPF reductions, quality and efficiency
· Maintain compliance to BMES policies and Quality Management System
· Maintain clean, safe work area and properly discard scrap materials
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· High School Diploma and technical school certificate/training/degree, or equivalent work experience
· Basic understanding of electronic and mechanical components
· Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical service manuals and training guides, including small print
· Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
· Ability to independently perform duties and make decisions based on education and experience
· Ability to operate a Windows PC with cloud-based software
· Ability to complete required service and repair documentation
· Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
· Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
· Build trust with team members, produce results, display ownership of your responsibilities and performance
· Willingness to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
