What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at BMG BAKERY, LLC?
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical skill set and be proficient in various maintenance tasks. They will work with repairs, installation, modification, or construction of donut production machinery. Technicians may also install, dismantle, or move machinery and heavy equipment according to plans.
Expected hours: 38 – 48 per week
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Overtime
- Rotating weekends
Experience:
- Maintenance: 2 years (required)

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in equipment and machinery
- Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed
- Inspect facilities to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Communicate appropriately when interacting with other department team members
Qualifications:
- Experience in facilities maintenance, including mechanical and some electrical knowledge
- Ability to weld, fabricate, and perform industrial maintenance tasks
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with team members cross-department
