JOB DESCRIPTION
The Field Sales Rep is responsible for identifying ways that new material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet rack, shelving, etc.) can save customers time and/or free up valuable space within their warehouse. The Field Sales Rep does this by nurturing existing relationships and developing new relationships with manufacturers and distributors in their assigned territory.
This role is best for someone with a creative, engineering mindset who enjoys using that knowledge to identify and tackle customer problems.
ROLE
The core mission of the Service Sales Rep role is to continue to grow the new equipment (forklifts, pallet rack, etc.) revenue in the Toledo area. To do this you will need to be disciplined in how you:
· Maintain and grow revenue from existing accounts by developing a regular cadence to touchbase (calls, emails, site visits)
· Find new ways to increase revenue at existing accounts
· Prospect (calls, emails and targeted marketing) to develop new accounts
· Work closely with our project management and service departments
This role includes:
· Salary commission bonus (based on sales levels achieved)
· Car allowance

· Computer, phone and related equipment
Because you will be going out to customer sites, this role has a travel component (50-75% of time). There is no overnight travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for:
· #1 - Driving revenue in the Toledo territory
· Working with the Inside Sales team to develop drawings, estimates and quotes for potential projects
· Increasing revenue from existing customers
· Finding and closing new customers to drive additional revenue
· Ensuring that orders are invoiced timely and all customer issues are solved in an efficient, friendly manner
EXPECTATIONS
- Prospecting and cold calling to develop new relationships
- Comfortable with technology (ERP platform, Microsoft Excel, Outlook and CRM)
- Sense of urgency
- Properly log and document opportunities, orders and preventative maintenance contracts
- Hungry to drive revenue gains (increased revenue translates directly to increased compensation for the sales rep)
