Line Lead
The Line Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the smooth operation of an assembly line, ensuring processes are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety regulations are followed. They guide a team of workers, motivate them to meet production targets, and provide training and support.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Oversee the entire assembly line, from setting up the line to monitoring production progress and ensuring it meets daily targets.
- Lead and motivate a team of assembly line workers, providing direction, training, and support.
- Communicate effectively with other teams and departments to address production delays and ensure a smooth workflow.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Train new workers on their assigned stations and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Inspect finished products for uniformity and ensure they meet quality standards, addressing any issues promptly.
- Ensure all team members follow company safety regulations and address any safety concerns or hazards.
Qualifications/Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3-5 years of production line experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Good communication, organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Dependable and Reliable
- Ability to work overtime if needed
