What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Manager position at BMI Supply?
BMI Supply is seeking a qualified candidate for a Warehouse Manager position. This full-time position involves shipping/receiving processes, product organization & preparation, and facility maintenance tasks. Specific duties include picking/packing/shipping customer orders, receiving stock orders, maintaining equipment and supplies, performing periodic inventory level checks, ensuring a safe and orderly environment, leading effective communication with other departments, and supervising a warehouse assistant.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience managing a warehouse environment. Candidate should exhibit computer know-how (preferably UPS and FEDEX shipping software), professional communication and organization skills, and meticulous attention-to-detail. Candidate must be able to lift 75 lbs, maneuver standard warehouse equipment (pallet jack, rolling ladder, motorized order picker, etc.), and complete basic electrical tasks. Clean driving record also required.
