Analyst or Associate role with the Asset Management team of the Sponsor Finance Group.  The team is one of the fastest growing initiatives within the bank.  Very collaborative and exciting work environment with significant opportunity to be challenged and grow.  Key responsibilities include:

• Support portfolio management through execution of loan trades, including pre- and post- trade testing, trade reporting, and working with all relevant parties to coordinate trade funding
• Assist portfolio management team to support ongoing growth and product expansion of the BAMC Private Debt platform
• Coordinate and manage credit rating pipeline with four main rating agencies
• Provide ongoing client support, including client deliverables and reports
• Assist in managing active and upcoming client accounts and private debt products, including cash management, loan trades, compliance testing, reporting, and monitoring performance
• Review new deal opportunities on behalf of BAMC private debt portfolios
• Manage new loan pipeline and the CLO Warehouse facility
• Support invoicing procedures, including recording invoices from third-party vendors, establishing vendor and supplier relationships consistent with BMO corporate standards (e.g., SEMS and AP), and preparing quarterly investor invoices

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
