Key Responsibilities
- Guide and Develop Employees: Coach and mentor employees to deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects.
- Understand Customer Needs: Identify and understand the needs of BMO customers or prospects to provide sales and service in their best interests.
- Advising Customers: Advise customers on products and strategies that meet their financial objectives.
- Sales and Service Activities: Support sales and customer service activities to meet strategic customer experience and profitability goals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and the Bank's policies and processes.
- Team Performance: Improve team performance by recognizing and rewarding performance, coaching employees, supporting their development, and managing poor performance.
- Business Objectives: Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by conducting sales calls, establishing a personal referral network, and other business development activities.
- Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain a network in the community to enhance the Bank's visibility and build a strong referral source for new potential business.
- Knowledge and Skills: Maintain current knowledge of interdependent systems and related policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience: Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services, working knowledge of branch operational processes and policies, and working knowledge of branch technologies, processes, and performance metrics.
- Skills: Data-driven decision making, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
