Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Banking Sales & Service Representative in the Fraser branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects, identifying their needs, and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their best interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow the customer's relationship with BMO beyond personal banking.
- Welcome and guide customers through the branch lobby, offering advice and guidance on digital and self-serve options to make it easy, simple, and fast to bank with BMO.
- Conduct client conversations about banking services, recommending alternative channels and providing personal banking and investment advice as a lobby leader.
- Meet customer transaction-based needs with seamless execution.
- Review customer profiles, engage in needs-based conversations, and identify potential opportunities to address everyday banking plans and credit card needs.
- Contribute to meeting branch business results and the customer experience.
- Support operational activities, such as inventory management, escalated service requests, and follow-up on customer applications.
- Act as a key member of a collaborative and versatile branch and market team.
- Proactively seek creative approaches to make each customer's experience feel personal.
- Leverage knowledge of personal banking products, practices, and trends to integrate into customer conversations.
- Identify and report suspicious patterns of activity related to money laundering.
- Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, protecting the Bank's assets and upholding industry standards.
- Analyze issues, determine next steps, and escalate as required.
Qualifications:
- Typically 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (Canada only).
- Confident and experienced use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
- Experience in consultative customer service or sales roles, with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
- Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists.

Salary Range:
