Commercial Sales & Service Relationship Manager
We are seeking an English and Japanese bilingual Relationship Manager to support clients in Japan. This role involves managing a portfolio of existing Japanese business clients and developing new business opportunities with US-based Japanese subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate growth initiatives for the Bank through significant business development and effective management of key Japanese business client relationships.
- Ensure adherence to internal control standards, including audit, regulatory, and compliance policies.
- Provide support for pre-sales activities such as presentations, bids/proposals, and requests for information in both Japanese and English.
- Establish and enhance the Bank's brand by collaborating with the Japanese business community.
- Provide subject matter expertise on market conditions and trends to maintain a high level of environmental awareness for US-based Japanese subsidiaries.
- Coordinate cash management product implementation and financial transaction setup.
- Ensure consistent personnel training throughout the team.
- Act as the daily sales contact for clients on sales-related questions.
Requirements:
- Typically between 4-6 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with portfolio management.
- Experience in cash management.
- Japanese and English verbal and written communication skills - In-depth.
- Data-driven decision making - In-depth.
