BMO Financial Group is seeking a bilingual Language Specialist to join our team, supporting clients based in Japan with a portfolio of existing Japanese Business clients. This role will focus on creating new business development opportunities with US-based Japanese Subsidiaries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating growth initiatives for the bank through significant business development and excellent management of key Japanese Business client relationships. They will ensure that all internal control standards are met, including audit, regulatory, and compliance policies.
Duties of this role include:
- Supporting pre-sales sales activities such as presentations, bids/proposals, and requests for information in both Japanese and English.
- Enhancing the bank's brand by working closely with the Japanese Business community.
- Providing market insights and trends to maintain a high level of environmental awareness for the US-based Japanese Subsidiaries.
- Cash management product implementation and financial transaction set-up.
Requirements for this position include:
- A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Portfolio management and business development experience.
- Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English, both verbal and written.
