Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual - English and Japanese - Relationship Manager to support our clients in Japan with U. This role will focus on creating new business development opportunities with US-based Japanese subsidiaries.
As a key member of our team, you will facilitate growth initiatives for the Bank through significant business development and excellent management of key Japanese Business client relationships. You will ensure adherence to internal control standards, including audit, regulatory, and compliance policies.
Your responsibilities will include providing support for pre-sales sales activities such as presentations, bids/proposals, and requests for information in both Japanese and English. You will establish and enhance the Bank's brand by collaborating with the Japanese Business community. You will provide subject matter expertise on market conditions and trends to maintain a high level of environmental awareness for the US-based Japanese Subsidiaries.
Additionally, you will coordinate cash management product implementation and financial transaction set-up. You will ensure consistent personnel training throughout the team. You will act as the daily sales contact for clients on sales-related questions such as product information, pricing, implementation timeframes, and requirements.
Your skills and qualifications:
• Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with portfolio management
• Experience in cash management
• Japanese and English verbal & written communication skills
• Data-driven decision making
