Retail Banking Sales & Service
Delivers exceptional service to customers and prospects, identifying their needs and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions.
Works collaboratively within the branch and with BMO partners to deliver the desired customer experience and achieve overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an originator of consumer loans, registering with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.
- Conduct needs-based assessments to grow loyalty and identify opportunities.
- Engage customers to complete assessments, recommending tailored solutions addressing sales and service needs.
- Offer advice and guidance on digital and self-serve options, making banking easy and fast.
- Grow BMO's business by reaching out, generating appointments, and building new relationships.
- Address questions and resolve issues through consumer credit audits and quality checks.
- Apply risk management frameworks to protect the Bank's assets and maintain lending portfolio quality.
- Makes credit recommendations for personal lending transactions in accordance with sound credit granting principles.
- Integrate marketing promotions and programs into customer conversations to provide strategic advice.
Requirements:
- Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Registration to sell investment products completed, as appropriate for the jurisdiction.
- Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products.
- Experience in financial services is an asset.
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications.
