About the Role:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers and prospects.
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored advice and guidance on financial solutions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and BMO partners to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Act as an originator of consumer loans, requiring Federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with existing customers and prospects to grow loyalty and identify opportunities.
- Engage customers in needs assessments to identify financial solutions and preferred banking channels.
- Offer advice and guidance on available digital and self-serve options to make banking easy, simple, and fast.
- Grow BMO's business by reaching out, generating appointments, and building new relationships within the community.
- Address questions and resolve issues through consumer credit audits and quality checks.
- Apply the risk management framework to protect the Bank's assets and maintain the quality of the lending portfolio.
- Makes credit recommendations for personal lending transactions, including home financing.
- Integrate marketing promotions and programs into customer conversations to provide strategic advice.
Requirements:
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study.
- Registration to sell investment products completed, as appropriate for the jurisdiction.
- Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products.
- Experience in financial services is an asset.
- Confident and experienced use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
