Job Summary
BMO is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused sales professional to deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects in the Retail Banking Sales & Service team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the branch team and BMO partners to deliver a personalized customer experience, grow loyalty, and identify opportunities for growth. They will also be responsible for engaging customers to complete needs assessments, identifying financial solutions, and recommending tailored banking channels.
The role requires a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field, as well as lending qualifications and designations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping customers, drive to deliver a personal customer experience, and a focus on results in a consultative sales and team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and proactively engage with existing customers and prospects to grow loyalty and identify immediate/future opportunities
- Engage customers to complete needs assessments, identify financial solutions, and recommend tailored banking channels
- Offer clients advice and guidance on available digital and self-serve options to make banking easy, simple, and fast
- Support customer transactions needs based on customer traffic
- Grow BMO's business by reaching out, generating appointments, and building new relationships within the community
Requirements:
- Typically between 2-3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field
- Lending qualifications and designations
- Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications
- Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role, with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience
Salary Range: $41,715.00 - $63,700.00 Pay Type: Salaried
