About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Banking Sales & Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying their needs and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized service to customers and prospects by understanding their financial needs and recommending tailored solutions
- Work collaboratively with the branch team and BMO partners to deliver a seamless customer experience and achieve business objectives
- Act as an originator of consumer loans, requiring Federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry
- Conduct needs assessments to identify opportunities for growth and recommend solutions to address customer needs
- Stay up-to-date on personal banking products, practices, and trends to provide strategic advice to customers
- Identify and report suspicious patterns of activity related to money laundering
Requirements:
- Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience in retail sales or customer service
- Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Registration to sell investment products (Canada only)
- Lending qualifications and designations
- Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to build rapport and connections with customers
