Job Description:
- The Assembler will assemble, test, and pack manufactured products used in professional racing including road, oval, drag, aircraft, desert, and marine.
Duties:
- Assemble hose, tubing and/or electrical wiring harnesses, and more according to directions.
- Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
- Test high performance parts and hoses for use in many fluid and air distribution applications across all forms of motorsports and aerospace.
- Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve any identified problems and alert supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Detail-oriented and consistent.
- Works well as a productive member of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
Education and Experience:
- Prefer candidates with automotive training and an interest in motorsports.
- High School diploma or equivalency is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
- Must have manual dexterity, to assemble products as directed.
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
Hours/Pay/Benefits
- Monday – Friday; 8 am to 5 pm
