Description
The Technical Instructor / Developer is responsible for delivering technical training to BMW Group dealership technicians and apprentice trainees for the Service Technician Education Program (STEP) through practical workshop training sessions and theoretical instruction in a workshop environment. This position will independently study technical material, repair procedures, and all relevant material related to BMW Group vehicle systems and procedures in order to improve their understanding and relevance.
WHAT AWAITS YOU.
- Develop and install relevant diagnostic tasks in vehicles for workshop training sessions.
- Organize and maintain the professional appearance and operation of the training facility.
- Assist in representing BMW Group University at assigned functions.
- Travel 10% of the time.
- Speak in front of large audiences.
- Exhibit excellent presentation and communication skills.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
If candidate does not have associate degree or post-secondary certificate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, then 7 years’ experience in any of the following fields :

This role requires full-time attendance in the office.
The expected salary range for this position is $57,100.00 - $114,200. The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
