Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at McLarty Automotive Group. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our automotive service operations, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid exchanges, alignments, tires, battery installations, and other automotive maintenance items.
- Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair.
- Inspect vehicles for proper operation.
- Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness.
- Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records. Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- ASE certification a big plus
- Willingness to participate in in-house training
- Ability to operate all auto repair tools
- Must possess and maintain MVR insurability requirements
- Must pass background and drug screenings
