Description:
Communicates to management any changes or issues that may impact department or company performance and collaborates with management to achieve resolution. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
The qualified intern/Co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
Ensuring cars get through the whole ATG process on time
Drives and steers supplier quality representatives when issues negatively impact product quality.
Performs tactical decision making for urgent issues. Manages support groups in problem solving and prevention.
Performs strategic management for anticipation of change.
Ensures that Department goals are consistently met. Maintains continuous improvement in regard to all measurable
Update Co-Op manual
Create process sheets for high speed test track facility
Develop an e-learning for the ATG process
Qualifications:
Engineering degree (preferably Industrial or Mechanical)
Microsoft Excel (experience with VLookup, Macros, etc. preferred)
Detail-oriented
Organized
Effective communication skills
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
THE WORK TERM DATES ARE August 11th - December 12th, 2025.
Must be an enrolled student during all three rotations
