Description:
Support the daily activities for the BMW real estate development and construction building project planning and execution. Student will support large, medium, and small construction projects while utilizing and supporting transformations with current systems (development and maintenance), process improvement initiatives, on-going processes and systems, and workflows while learning BMW building and construction project management.
The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Plan and implement projects and tasks related to assignments from management
- Project are TBD – specific to time of hiring and maturity level of projects and tasks
- Support the BMW Project Manager in execution of project objectives; Demonstrate familiarity with BMW project management systems and tools; Review construction work in progress and recognize acceptable conditions
- Assist department improvement initiatives and enabler projects
- Support department projects managers and specialists in daily tasks
- Steering your collaborative partners
- Support management and the project Team with meetings including organization, meeting minutes, meeting notes, compliance documents, and so on.
- And others assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
- Degree path: [Undergrad or Masters]: Civil, Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Business Management.
- Basic Technical/Engineering Aptitude
- Self-driven
- Ability to absorb information quickly
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
