- Provides technical cleanliness analysis to internal and external customers, including engineering, parts quality management and parts suppliers.
- Analyzes technical cleanliness problems and provides test data for root cause analysis and KPIs monitoring.
- Provides documentation of abnormalities and results.
- Ensures accurate test reports.
- Coordinates sampling and visual assessment of the scope of the test.
- Provides accurate microscopic and gravimetric analysis of extracted particles.
- Ensures TecSa sampling according to BMW quality standards (QV11111 or VDA19.1).
- Performs tasks in the context of the testing of the technical cleanliness of components, packaging, environments, and fluids.
- Promotes the principles and values of Plant Spartanburg in daily activities and future planning.
- Collaborates with process partners on Plant-wide PMP (Problem-Management Process), 8D, and CST (Cross-System Teams).
- Collaborates and benchmarks BMW group plants and implements best practices. Operates with latitude for unreviewed action or decision.
- Works independently to carry out assigned project responsibilities.
- Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
- Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree (Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical engineering field preferred); OR AA/AS degree in a technical field AND 2 years of professional manufacturing experience. OR The equivalent of 4 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
- 1 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- 1 years of experience in Automotive lab test environment (preferred).
- As applicable, per BMW training guidelines.
- Valid driver s license in good standing per BMWMC LLC vehicle use program guidelines.
- Must have a valid passport or the ability to obtain one.
- Certificate for TecSa examiner (preferred).
- Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt training (preferred.)
- Blitz HV2 (preferred).
- 2 years of Microsoft Office skills.
- 2 years of strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) as proven through business application.
- 1 years of organizational skills as proven through business application.
- 1 years of problem-solving skills.
- Basic German language skills (preferred).
