WHAT AWAITS YOU.
Perform daily operational tasks assigned by Regional Distribution Center (RDC) management to maintain required performance levels.
Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as needed, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Carry out warehouse activities such as picking, packing, shipping, receiving, reverse logistics, and inventory control to the highest standards of quality, productivity, and customer service.
Act in accordance with BMW's core values and guiding principles, and strictly comply with all established policies and work rules.
May be required to process shipment of federally regulated Dangerous Goods, while obtaining and maintaining necessary certifications.
Responsible for meeting and maintaining required performance levels (quality, productivity, etc.) within assigned area.
Comply with the BMW Value Added Production System (VPS) within assigned area.
Maintain essential supplies on assigned equipment and/or work area and ensure a safe and clean environment at all times.
This position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lb., driving, pulling, kneeling, reaching, standing, twisting, walking, climbing, pushing, squatting, hearing and exposure to variations in temperature and high noise. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
This position requires full time attendance at the facility. The shift is from 1:00PM - 9:30PM Monday - Friday.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
High School diploma or GED.
Work experience, leadership experience.
Previous logistics/distribution experience, preference.
OEM distribution experience, preference.
Ability to obtain all Dangerous Goods Certifications, preference.
Familiar with Warehouse Management System functionality - SAP, BMW WM, preference.
Language: Fluent English. Ability to speak or understand Spanish or German is a plus, however not required.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $22.75 (per collective bargaining agreement). Supplemental earning potential includes shift differential, overtime, and monthly eligible bonuses. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
