The new graduate trainee program is a dynamic 18-month rotational program designed for previous BMW interns. Through this immersive experience, trainees will gain valuable insights into the business processes, strategy, culture, and BMW Group brands from a local perspective. By rotating through various departments, trainees will develop a well-rounded understanding of the organization and its operations. This program provides an exceptional opportunity for recent graduates to kickstart their career with the BMW Group.
The corporate communications trainee will:
- Gain a broad understanding of BMW Group business in the U.S.
- Develop basic writing and communications skills
- Draft press releases, media briefings, and related materials
- Work side-by-side with the corporate communications team across internal, external, product, lifestyle, and culture communications functions.
- Support the planning and execution of company meetings and internal initiatives
- Support the planning, execution, and staffing of press events
- Gain real-world experience by interacting with interact with journalists and members of the media
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
- Previous Intern with BMW of North America (Rolls Royce, MINI, Motorrad), Financial Services, Bank, Designworks or Shared Services
- Completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree, no more than 14-months from an accredited college or university prior to the start of the program
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
- Ability to work full-time
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule

Relocation is not available for this position.
This is a hybrid role that requires regular attendance in the office.
The hourly rate for Master’s level Trainees is $34.78.
The hourly rate for Bachelor’s level Trainees is $26.57.
All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
