Develop action plans and set objectives for increased revenue and maximum profit for hotel management. Implement sales and marketing strategies necessary for attracting clients to patronize a hotel. Maintain a clear understanding of hotel policies and ensure compliance
Carry out research and analysis to identify new markets and business opportunities.
Essential Functions
- Maintain a complete knowledge of all the services a hotel provides so as to conduct successful sales.
- Explain and notify clients of recent upgrades and available options for hotel services
- Oversee the management of client accounts
- Seek out business with large organizations such as churches, sports clubs or corporate firms to convince them to patronize their hotel
- Handling complaints, and oversee the service recovery procedures
- Closely monitor the hotels business reports on a daily, weekly basis and take decisions accordingly,’ Delphi, Saleforce, STS, travel click “
- Prepare a weekly and monthly sales reporting
- Respond to QA / BSA sales requirements to ensure continual improvement is achieved and property passes per brand standards Audit
- Responsible for safeguarding the quality of operations both (internal & external audits)
- Insure the safety of our guest’s property assets; never open door for guest’s who forgot their key (redirect them back to the front desk)
- This position requires weekends
- Trains, cross –trains, and retrains all front office personnel
- Conducts regularly scheduled meetings of front office personnel
- Monitor high balance guest and take appropriate action
- Assist general manager on all requests and monitors hotel in general manager absence
- Cover shifts on call offs including Night audit
Salary : $20 - $22
