Job Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst works on a variety of financial reporting, analysis, and modeling in support of ongoing organizational expansion and growth planning. Collaborates across the enterprise with a variety of groups in ongoing discussions, analysis, and decision-making. Works heavily with calculations, analytics, and data modeling in support of decision-making and financial analysis. Effectively synthesizes, analyzes, and consolidates business results from multiple information sources.
Essentials Responsibilities:
- Builds and maintains databases, data processes, dashboards, and models for revenues, expenses and operational activities.
- Develops and maintains a series of meaningful daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual tracking metrics.
- Maintains and updates internal models for long term forecasting.
- Assists Director, FP&A - Operating with the preparation of quarterly reporting for management; includes analysis of revenue, operating expenses, and sources and uses of internal funds.
- Assists with monthly variance to budget report preparation for management.
- Monitors MNAA's systems of internal controls and recommends policy and procedure enhancements.
- Assists with the setting of rates and charges for operations at BNA and JWN in accordance with Airport Use and Lease Agreement and the annual operating budgets.
- Performs detailed analysis and forecasting for the Airport Authority's operating budgets to accurately communicate annual projections to ensure financial obligations are coordinated and achieved.
- Provides independent analysis and recommendations to senior leadership on department requests for funding of new initiatives that will be funded from O&M expense budget and capital investments.
- Conducts independent analysis in areas of cost management, operation effectiveness, process improvements and productivity.
- Collaborates with Director, FP&A - Operating in preparation and distribution of monthly Actual to Budget variance analysis.
- Maintains regular and on-time attendance.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree preferably in accounting, finance, business administration, data analysis or related field
- 4-7 years in a related field
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel required
- Proficient use of Power BI required
- Proficient use of Data Lakes or similar program required
