JOB SUMMARY:
The Tool and Equipment Associate is responsible for inspection and testing of tools and equipment that are rented to customers. This position ensures that tools being sent to projects are complete, in good working order, and safe to use.
SALARY RANGE: $25.00 - $30.00 hourly, $52,000.00 - $62,400.00 annually (companywide)

- Annual Discretionary Bonus based on company profitability and your manager’s assessment of your performance.
- A 401(k) savings plan under which BNB matches the first three percent of your deferral with a 100% match and the next two percent with a 50% match for a total matching contribution of 4% of your pay. You are immediately 100% vested in all contributions (including BNB match). We provide both traditional (Pre-Tax) and Roth (post –tax) contribution options in our 401(k) plan.

It’s 100% company funded and is invested in BNBuilders stock. You can participate in this long-term plan after you complete 1 year of service (with at least 1,000 hours).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect, test, and clean battery, gas, and 110-volt powered tools as necessary.
- Inspect, test, and make minor repairs on 240-volt temporary power and lighting components.
- Ensure that tools and equipment meet all manufacturer specifications and operational requirements.
- Responsible for green tagging items that pass inspection, as well as red tagging items that pose safety concerns.
- Identify items that are covered by a manufacturer warranty and coordinating the covered repairs.
- Return equipment to the proper bin location (i.e. warranty, damaged, rent ready, etc.).
- Responsible of keeping work area safe, highly organized, and efficient at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High level of mechanical aptitude.
- Previous experience inspecting tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical safety best practices.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Ability to read and respond to emailed inquiries from customers and/or employees.
- Safety-oriented.

Capable of traversing over construction-type terrain when under development; moving through the construction site and the materials in place for use on the site; climbing ladders and temporary stairways; conducting visual inspections of quality of construction and materials being used in construction. Conduct jobsite walks to ensure successful project completion. Conduct jobsite walks to identify and eliminate safety hazards.
