Job SummaryThe successful candidate will ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for an information system and verify cybersecurity policies and procedures are being properly implemented and executed. Job Duties:• As Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) direct and oversee day-to-day information system security operations including hardware and software implementations.• Capture and refine information security requirements and effectively integrate them into information systems through architecting, design, and configuration management.• Employ best practices for implementing security requirements. • Ensure patch management and flaw remediation are carried out on systems in accordance with System Security Plan (SSP)• Lead team of Information System Security Officers (ISSO).• Oversee continuous monitoring activities to include auditing in accordance with the SSP. • Collaborate with various teams to understand and gather system artifacts for security compliance verification. • Maintain working knowledge of system functions, security policies, technical security safeguards and operational security measures.• Implement Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to monitor and validate system security.• Document the results of Assessment and Authorization activities and prepare and submit System Security Plans and the Plan of Actions and Milestones POA&M. • It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's with 8 - 10 yrs. of experience, or a Master’s with 6 - 8 yrs. of experience or any equivalent combination of education and progressive and relevant experience. • Have and maintain a DoD 8570 IAM Level 3 certification (CISSP, CISM, CISSO, GCIA, GCSA, GCIH, GSLC, GICSP, FITSP-M).• Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) experience. • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. • Current Top Secret with eligibility for access to Special Access Program (SAP) information.• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and the AEDC local area network.• Current U. S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications• Currently working supporting SAP customers.• Prior experience in roles such as System or Network Administrator.• Hands on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools such as ACAS, NESSUS, SCAP, CornerBowl, SPLUNK.
