Job Description – Project Manager
We are looking for an individual with considerable attention to detail who will contribute to our team of airport system consultants in project roles from master planning, scheme, and concept design, preparation of design and specification documents, cost estimating, and project management through on-site installation and commissioning efforts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. We utilize the latest software package technology in our design efforts, including recent releases of Revit, AutoCAD, PathPlanner, and others. Experience with these packages is a benefit but not strictly required.
The project manager will serve as a liaison between clients, contractors, and BNP, ensuring projects adhere to schedule, budget, and agreed-upon A&E design plans. They will coordinate with various team members, including designers, project engineers, directors, and executives, to manage and perform project tasks, such as reports, specifications, drawing packages, and client submittals. Under the mentorship of senior project managers and project directors, the project manager will learn to develop cohesive development strategies and support team members while advancing their careers.

Job Responsibilities
As a project manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring successful execution and client satisfaction. The position’s key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary liaison and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for clients and contractors
- Coordinate with designers, project engineers, directors, and executives to assign staff and develop all required reports and documentation
- Collaborate with team members and other project managers to find the best solutions for clients
- Oversee discipline-specific requirements, including baggage handling systems, cargo handling systems, and other related areas
- Manage on-site activities such as surveys, inspections, installations, and equipment testing
- Supervise punch list resolution and provide start-up assistance
- Maintain project budgets and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective completion
- Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Conduct and analyze system simulations for performance evaluation
- Provide feedback to designers and project engineers to ensure the quality and accuracy of reports, specifications, and drawing packages
- Mentor and support project engineers and designers to foster professional growth
Qualifications
Below is an outline of the qualifications for this position. We have many engineers that fall outside of this standard, so please do not be dissuaded from applying if you do not meet particular criteria:
· Minimum five (5) years of experience in project management (preferably in BHS)
- Leadership and team-building experience with large design and development groups
- Staff management and assignment skills
- Exceptional client rapport and communication skills
- Exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills
- Experience managing project logistics, timelines, and budgets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and develop efficient logistics designs and concepts
- Data acquisition and compilation skills
- Experience conducting field surveys, inspections, and equipment tests
- Preferred qualifications include a mechanical, industrial, or controls engineering background. However, civil and electrical engineers as well as candidates with other educational backgrounds may be considered if they possess relevant knowledge or experience. Previous experience in conceptual and spatial coordination works with large-scale hub airports is a valuable asset

Education
- Bachelor’s degree or similar field experience
- PMP certification preferred but not required
- EIT or PE certification preferred but not required
Working Conditions
- This full-time position is based in any of our U.S. offices, including Denver, Chicago, Dallas, Tampa, and Fairfield. The role requires occasional travel to airports within the U.S. for site-based work and travel to architectural and engineering partner’s offices. The successful candidate must pass criminal background checks and screening to obtain airport security badges.

· $73,000 - $120,000 per year depending on experience
