Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Plano, TX office for the first 90 days. After that, there are 1 to 2 days of WFH per week.

Job Description:
- Lead and manage various tax projects for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Perform tax compliance for individual and business clients, including preparation, planning, and projections
- Review and provide insight on complex tax returns, applying deep tax knowledge to support optimal outcomes
- Conduct tax research and respond to tax inquiries, managing resolutions and correspondence
- Supervise accounting processes, financial reporting, and related client services
- Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth and a high-performing culture
- Collaborate with partners on strategies for client growth and operational improvements
Qualifications:
- CPA certification required
- Minimum of 3 years in public accounting with a strict focus on tax returns for at least 3 consecutive tax seasons
- Proficient understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Experience with tax compliance, risk assessment, and internal controls
- Skilled in accounting software and financial systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
