Job Title : Scheduling Engineer

Job Overview :
WDF Inc. is seeking an experienced Scheduling Engineer to oversee and manage complex project schedules for large public infrastructure and building projects, including jail facilities. Reporting directly to the Scheduling Manager, the Senior Scheduler will play a pivotal role in tracking, updating, and developing comprehensive schedules to ensure project timelines are met. This is a leadership position requiring a deep understanding of scheduling methodologies, proficiency in Primavera P6, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and Manage Schedules : Lead the creation and maintenance of project schedules throughout all phases of construction, from pre-construction through to project close-out.
- Track Schedule Performance : Continuously monitor and update project schedules to reflect progress, performance metrics, and any changes in scope or delays.
- Collaborate with Teams : Work closely with project management, construction teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Time Impact Analyses : Lead the development of Time Impact Analyses (TIAs) for ongoing and completed work, assessing delays and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Scenario Planning and Fragnets : Develop fragnets and alternate schedule scenarios to assess potential project impacts and ensure proactive problem-solving.
- Lead Schedule Reviews : Conduct regular schedule review meetings with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors, ensuring all parties are aligned on the schedule status and future expectations.
- Pull Planning Sessions : Facilitate Pull Planning Sessions with field teams, subcontractors, and consultants to drive collaborative schedule creation and milestone adherence.
- Report Creation : Prepare detailed budget analysis reports, cost / revenue projections, and schedule progress reports to present to senior management and clients.
- Financial and Resource Loading : Assist in integrating earned value analysis (EVM), cost / resource loading, and scheduling into the project management process.
- Project Documentation : Collect and input data into project schedules from change orders, procurement logs, submittals, RFIs, and other essential documentation.
- Mentorship : Provide guidance and leadership to junior schedulers and project engineers on scheduling processes, tools, and best practices.
