We’re seeking future team member for our Associate, Cash Processing/Funds Transfer II role located in Pittsburgh, PA.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Applies expertise and judgement, providing quality service to internal clients in support of their external clients on a daily basis, performing cash transaction processing such Domestic and Foreign Wires, ACH or Checks, reconciliations, inquiry response and problem resolution while meeting defined processing timeframes.
- Performs a variety of operational tasks including processing updates to client accounts or company records, working with other processing areas and handling varying volumes and transaction types.
- Conducts independent analysis and policy interpretation, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Works with technology, providing process knowledge and requirements in the event of a system issue. Performs testing in support system upgrades or other recovery requirements such as business resumption.
- Review/check work of other Cash Processing team members and help resolve escalated issues.
- Maintains department procedures as the result of process or system changes and performs an annual review of all to ensure accuracy.
- Act as a workflow coordinator for the team, ensuring daily process coverage.
- No direct reports but may provide guidance to less experienced team members. May have people management responsibilities in some geographies. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience in financial services operations preferred.
