We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Back-end Developer (Java) to join our Asset Servicing Engineering, Global Custody Cash Services team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA – HYBRID. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from office. We are unable to sponsor work permits for this role.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Design, develop and test mission critical components to manage sanctions critical data elements.
- Maximize the principles of the SDLC and TDD to ensure the highest quality of feature/function delivery.
- Manage, analyze, and extract data from Oracle and SQL Server databases to support the data reporting needs of our business partners.
- Apply a strong knowledge and background of the sanction screening processes for payments and client data.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Proficiency with Languages: Java, SQL, Unix scripts
- Proficiency with Data Schemas: XML, XSD, JSON
- Proficiency with OS: Unix, Linux, Windows
