We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Fund/Client Accounting Manage to join our Fund Accounting team. This role is located in Westborough or Boston,MA.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Responsible for conducting accounting services for multiple teams on behalf of a broad array of assigned clients, including determining net asset values (NAVs), fund performance, expense allocation, and financial reporting.
- Oversees financial and human resources for the unit, ensuring assigned teams are operating effectively to meet goals and objectives.
- Establishes guidelines for determining NAVs across various sectors and measurement cycles.
- Leads relationship management for a broad set of clients to ensure service levels are met, resolve client issues, and oversee escalations.
- Participates in sales efforts, including RFP and RFI preparation, and provides guidance in ensuring accuracy and completeness in financial statements.
- Analyzes GAAP and IFRS rules, determines the impact of new regulations on fund accounting practices, and sets policies for compliance.
- Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, ensuring a high-performing team while fostering collaboration across senior leaders, auditors, and clients.
- Manages multiple team objectives and ensures fund reporting accurately depicts fund performance.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
·Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7-10 years of total work experience with at least 3-5 years in management preferred.
- Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
