We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Client Processing Team Lead to join our Global Clearing, International Settlements team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL – HYBRID
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Applicant will be responsible for monitoring the daily activities of multiple associates performing trade settlement activities in multiple offshore markets.
- Required to identify transactions subject to negative exposure, monitor unmatched transactions and / or transactions that are failing to settle and will take prompt action to remedy. Applicant will also be required to represent the department at weekly Credit Committee meeting.
- Will Consistently interact with Introducing Firms (clients), agent banks and counterparts to trades. Also, frequently networks internally with other operating areas ( Stock Loan, Corporate Actions, Exception Processing, Reconciliation, Relationship Managers).
- May be required to assume daily processing when team is short staffed or assistance is needed by team.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Applicant must have College degree and Series 7 licensed
- 2-5 years of experience
- Should have a good to strong working knowledge of the concept of trade matching and settlements. Also, knowledge of SWIFT message formats (and the security messages types used) is required for this role.
- Must have a strong understanding of risk, exposure and the pitfalls associated with delayed or failed settlement.
- Should exhibit strong communication skills (verbal and writing).
- Must be self-disciplined - organizational skills are important, frequent multitasking is required.
- Should possess good networking skills (with peers, neighboring business units and external parties).
