We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate to join our Global Client Management team. This role is located in New York, New York – ONSITE.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Supporting specific client relationships, being up to speed on key industry developments and client moves, mapping the client’s business at BNY, identifying areas of opportunity to grow the relationship, conducting research and analyses on key themes and supporting day to day interaction with the client as well as preparing ‘top of house’ meetings. 
  • Managing specific client efforts with increasing independence over time, bringing together stakeholders from across the firm and/or the client, delivering concrete outcomes and output and communicating progress to senior leadership. Examples include helping to roll out a new client offering and supporting the completion of an RFP to secure new business.
  • Understanding the “bigger picture” for key client relationships and segments and how BNY acts as a strategic partner, helping management bring relationships to the next level. This requires understanding the client’s strategy and our own, supporting major client initiatives and helping to drive high profile efforts to fruition. 
  • Maintains the team’s CRM & market intelligence databases, liaising between with the businesses to ensure the accuracy of Relationship Management sales reporting.
  • Researches, constructs, organizes, presents, and drives the implementation of client account plans; updating these as appropriate and on a timely basis.
  • Assists with client presentation preparation.
  • Prepares and maintains divisional reports. Works with other internal constituencies to obtain data and ensure the accuracy of reports. Performs Ad Hoc research reporting when requested.
  • Prepares business overviews to include, but not limited to, pipeline, trending, and year over year analysis.
  • Provides baseline revenue generation reporting and verifies information with the associated businesses.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Minimum - Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial industry experience.
  • Ability to lead and communicate to a virtual coverage team to ensure firm-wide alignment on priorities, issues, and initiatives.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $56,000 and $105,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. 
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Salary : $56,000 - $105,000
