What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President, Business Continuity/Recovery II position at BNY External Career Site?
Responsible for the ongoing, independent oversight of complex business resiliency activities and incident management process governance.
Drives the continuous improvement of the incident management process by standardizing major incident responses, tracking and reporting on trends and working to complete Root Cause Analysis with incident owners in a timely manner.
Assists with the assessment of and reporting on key indicators of business continuity and recovery preparedness.
Plans for standard business continuity risks and contributes to the group’s activities to address any control gaps.
Supports the Business Resiliency Lead to ensure the platform is meeting both client and regulatory requirements related to business continuity and incident management. This includes providing training and awareness on required deliverables, tracking and monitoring for completion, conducting quality assurance reviews and reporting back to management, as required.
Consistently contributes to cross-functional efforts to promote a strong business continuity & recovery culture throughout the organization.
Assists with the drafting of the master resolution and recovery playbook for the organization, including documenting actions to be taken in the event of a crisis or bankruptcy.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor‘s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
