We're seeking a future team member for the role of Fixed Income Portfolio Manager to join our Wealth Management Investment team. This role is located in Boston, MA (HYBRID)

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Day-to-day management of Tax Exempt SMA portfolios: You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the portfolios, ensuring they meet the clients' investment objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Trading Tax Exempt securities: You will actively trade tax-exempt securities, making strategic decisions to optimize portfolio performance. This includes analyzing market trends, identifying investment opportunities, and executing trades to maximize returns while managing risk.
• History of client acquisition and commercial success: You will leverage your experience in acquiring clients and achieving commercial success to drive growth and profitability.
• Client presentation and consultation: You will present investment strategies and portfolio performance to clients, providing expert consultation to help them achieve their financial goals.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Minimum of MBA/CFA or the equivalent: A strong educational background in finance or a related field is required.
• Experience: Industry experience of 10 years managing/trading Tax Exempt securities is essential.
• History of commercial success and client acquisition: Demonstrated success in acquiring clients and achieving commercial goals is crucial.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $131,500 and $241,300 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
