We're seeking a future team member for the role Head of Institutional Credit Sales on our Global Markets team. This role is located in New York, NY - HYBRID
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Managing Team of professional salespeople covering Institutional Investors for both primary and secondary bonds
- Managing institutional client relationships
- Developing new and existing relationships
- Responsible for achieving sales targets and managing an independent book of business
- Lead in delivery of data-driven recommendations to both clients and the business
- Liaise and leverage internal resources as needed to maximize client delivery
- Prepares business overviews for assigned groups to include but not limited to pipeline, trending, and year over year analysis
- Provides baseline revenue generation reporting and verify information with the associated businesses
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- 15 years' experience in Fixed Income Investment Grade Sales
- Strong relationships within the financial industry
- Well versed in Fixed Income markets and US Economy
- Deep understanding of client liquidity needs
- Strong knowledge of investment grade sectors
- Familiarity with Fixed Income Trading platforms; Market Access, TradeWeb, Bloomberg, and Trumid amongst others
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Track record of providing stellar client experience and engagement
- Entrepreneurial drive to help win new business and grow existing relationships

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $147,000 and $273,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
