Job Summary:
The Project Management position involves leading and providing guidance for various project planning and management activities to ensure timely and within-budget completion while meeting internal client specifications. This role oversees end-to-end project management tasks, including reporting, planning, risk identification, scope management, client and relationship management, and project documentation preparation for complex projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee project management activities from initiation to closure
- Identify, track, and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies
- Report progress/issues to executive management as necessary
- Monitor program actuals, forecasts, budgets, and update plans with accurate information
- Establish program governance structure (e.g., sponsors, stakeholders)
- Serve as a liaison between internal clients and stakeholders for timely project delivery
- Ensure adherence to company methodologies and standards
- Manage communication with senior business leaders at a detailed functional level
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills to motivate resources for project delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in project planning, issue/risk management, scope estimation
- Client management skills to manage expectations effectively
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management or related field required; advanced degree preferred
- Relevant work experience in Transformational Project Management Experience
- Experience with forecasts and budgets and updating plans with accurate, up-to-date information
- Proven experience leading and motivating the internal and external resources required to deliver the program
- Experience working with Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint for information related to projects
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
