Job Summary:
The Cyber Vulnerability Program Manager will oversee the reduction of aged vulnerabilities within BNY's systems and infrastructure. This pivotal role demands a deep comprehension of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, and program oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive vulnerability management program to detect, prioritize, and address aged vulnerabilities
- Create and supervise project plans, resource distribution, and timelines to ensure prompt resolution of vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with various teams such as IT, security, and compliance to guarantee efficient vulnerability management
- Analyze vulnerability scan outcomes, spot trends, and offer suggestions for remediation
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge project success including vulnerability remediation rates
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards for vulnerability management
- Provide regular updates to senior management on program advancement and metrics
- Manage collaboration with stakeholders across the enterprise to drive remediation efforts
Skills:
- 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields
- Proficiency in cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, and risk assessment
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM (preferred)
