Job Summary:
Join our team as an SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) to play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. Your expertise in SCCM administration, software distribution, patch management, scripting, and troubleshooting will be instrumental in ensuring seamless software deployment, patching, and system updates across our organization. This position is a hybrid role in our Pittsburgh, PA office.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Designing and implementing SCCM infrastructure.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring system performance and generating reports.
- User Support: Providing support and training to end-users and IT staff.
Required Skills:
- SCCM Administration: Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and managing SCCM.
- Software Distribution and Patch Management: Ability to distribute software and manage patches across multiple systems.
- PowerShell and Scripting: Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Operating System Deployment (OSD): Experience in creating and deploying OS images.
- Active Directory Services: Understanding of Active Directory, including Group Policy management.
- Networking and IT Security: Basic networking knowledge and understanding of IT security principles.
- Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
Preferred Skills/ Experience:
- Certification in Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or equivalent preferred.
