Technology Services Group Inc seeks a Senior Vice President, Information Security for its Houston, TX location.
DUTIES : Consult and provide professional support for major components of the company's information security infrastructure. Contribute to the development and implementation of security architecture, standards, procedures and guidelines for multiple platforms in diverse system environments. Consult with the business and operational infrastructure personnel regarding new and existing technologies. Recommend new security tools to management and reports and provide guidance and expertise in their implementation. Review and analyze highly complex data and information to provide insights, conclusions and actionable recommendations. Define, implement, and apply area-wide security and / or COB policies and standards by leveraging in-depth knowledge of globally accepted information security and / or COB principles. Address high risk security concerns or incidents. Recommend course of action to mitigate risk and ensure that appropriate standards are established and published. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, and ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Ten (10) years of experience must include : Designing, implementing and supporting forensic infrastructure in a global organization; Analyzing Windows, Linux, and Mac systems for forensic evidence; Collecting forensic images of both physical assets and over the network collections; Acquiring forensically sound images of Windows physical and virtual servers, Windows physical and virtual user workstations, Linux virtual servers, and Mac laptops; Performing forensic engagements, projects, and casework from inception to completion; Testing and validating forensic tools for use in corporate environments; and Reading, writing, assessing, and updating playbooks and procedures for efficiency and applicability.
