We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis Investor Relations II to join our Finance team. This role is located in New York, NY, and the team follows a hybrid in-office schedule.

As a highly valued and contributing member of the investor relations team, you will be part of a small and collaborative squad that work closely with the firm’s senior management to communicate BNY’s strategy and financial performance to the analyst and investor community as well as other stakeholders.

In partnering with business and functional leaders as well as subject matter experts across the firm to produce public disclosures, prepare senior management for their engagements with the analyst and investor community and to provide market and competitive intelligence to senior management, you will be able to engage all of your skills and become familiar with our products and services, the markets that we operate in, financial reporting, corporate finance analytics and more. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced person to broaden their overall business skills.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways :

  • Contributing to the creation of BNY’s quarterly earnings materials, investor presentations and other public disclosures
  • Assisting senior investor relations officers in managing engagements between senior management and the investor community e.g., investor conferences, roadshows, 1x1 meetings, etc.
  • Understanding research analysts’ financial models and preparing consensus estimates for senior management
  • Monitoring research reports about BNY, competitors and the broader industry and synthesizing key insights for senior management
  • Analyzing competitors’ financial performance and benchmarking them to BNY
  • Partnering with subject matter experts across the firm to address questions from analysts and investors
  • Developing and implementing continual process improvements for greater team efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring consistently high quality
  • Providing guidance to team members and leading projects

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following :

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit
  • 5 years of work experience, preferably in investor relations, finance, planning & analysis, investment banking, equity research or strategy consulting
  • MBA or CFA preferred

    BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $132,000 and   $200,000 per   year   at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.

    This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department / team performance and market factors.”

    Salary : $132,000 - $200,000
