Desktop Support (contract)

The Desktop Support Analyst role involves providing comprehensive support for all IT-related activities within the organization. This position requires guiding, assisting, coordinating, and following up on IT issues to ensure timely resolution. The primary focus will be on setting up multiple deployments daily using Dell Hardware and ServiceNow as the ticketing system. Effective communication with internal end-users is crucial to meet deliverables in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize technical experience to provide support for imaging laptops/desktops.
• Perform software installation and troubleshooting tasks efficiently.
• Work directly with end-users to address hardware replacements promptly. About 5-10 requests a day
  
  

Skills:

• Proficiency in Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
• Dell Hardware experience is a must.
• Lever 2 support experience in a enterprise environment.
• Experience in laptop imaging and setup procedures.
• Strong background in end-user support and general software installation/troubleshooting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with end-users.
  
  

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Direct experience working with multiple end-users and meeting deliverables.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow is advantageous.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or MS certifications required; alternatively, a minimum of 2 years of relevant technology experience.
• Preferred: MS Certification(s) if lacking a college or trade school degree.
